Role Overview: As an MRI Radiographer, you will play a pivotal role in performing high-quality MRI scans for patients. Your expertise in operating MRI equipment and interpreting imaging results will ensure accurate diagnoses and optimal patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform MRI scans on patients using advanced imagingequipment, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the procedure.
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals to determine appropriate imaging protocols and ensure accurate image acquisition.
* Monitor and assess image quality, making adjustments as necessary to obtain diagnostic-quality images.
* Interpret imaging results, ensuring timely communication and collaboration in patient care.
* Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to strict protocols and safety standards.
* Participate in quality assurance activities and continuous education to stay abreast of advancements in MRI technology and techniques.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Radiography or a related field.
* CORU registration as a Radiographer.
* Postgraduate in MRI is desirable but not essential.
* Minimum 3+ years' experience working as an MRI Radiographer.
* Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
