Business Development Executive
National Role
£25000 - £35000 PA Plus car allowance and bonus
THE COMPANY
Thiswelsh based FMCG organisation support the whole of the UK selling into Large retail chains, independent retail, forecourt tradeas well as hospitality. They are well established, sell a quality range of products and are currently expanding their organisation, which has created this additional role.
THE ROLE
You will be based in the Sales and Marketing team and be responsible for bringing on new business throughout all sectors of FMCG. Reporting to the Commercial Director your scope for new salesstretches to the whole of the UK and will predominantly field based. You will work mainly from home only needing to visit the office or agreed meeting point for sales meetings every second week. Duties will include:
* Extensive business development
*Acquisition of new business / customers
* Drive sustainable financial growth
* Some day to day account management duties* Promotional activity
* Extending product range / volume sales of existing customers
* Brand marketing
* Following up ontargeted potential customers
REQUIREMENTS
The successful applicant will have the following skills, experience and attributes:
* Previous Sales / Business Development experience within the FMCG sector
* Proven ability to work well independently using own initiative
* Target driven
* Ability to build and maintain a solid customer base
* Excellent communicationskills
* Full drivers license
* Willing to travel to customers / head office as required
