The Role
Compliance Officer required for an established International Financial Services company based in the thriving jurisdiction of Gibraltar. You willbe responsible for ensuring a positive and consistent Compliance culture that is in line with the company operations, to attaina high standard of regulatory and legal compliance across all the relevant products the company provides.

What You Will Be Doing
*
Ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory rules including GDPR and Money Laundering Regulations
*
Overseeing the monitoring of regulatory developments, which include assessing and ensuring appropriate controls are put in place
*
Completing compliance monitoring reports and suggest for relevant remedial actions, in a clear, accurate and consistent manner
*
Escalating risksand issues to the Gibraltar Head of Compliance.
*
Assisting in ensuring that regulatory returns are submitted within set deadlines
*
Assisting in delivering appropriate compliance training to employees
*
Assisting in signing off FinancialPromotions
*
Supporting in the design and implementation of compliance policy and procedures
*
Provide assistance and guidance on compliance related queries from the business and its clients as appropriate within service levels agreed.
*Assisting with relevant business management information requirements and any external requests
*
To commit and uphold thecompany's organisational values
*
Assessing, design and implement new changes to policy and procedure to support the business on any future regulatory changes
What You Will Need to Succeed In This Role
*
A good knowledge of Gibraltar regulations and have a strong financial services, trusts and funds background
*
Build, develop, and maintain strongrelationships with both internal and external
*
Ideally educated to Degree level but not essential
*
Strong administrative experience, attention to detail, and good organisational skills
*
Good interpersonal skills, strong IT skills particularly Word and Excel
*
Understanding of the end to end KYC and client on boarding processes
*
Good knowledge of the regulations governing the jurisdiction to which the role applies including pensions and life products
*
Demonstrable experience in compliance monitoring
