Financial Accountant (Statutory Accounting) - Bilingual Spanish/English - 6 Month Contract |Hybrid |Immediate Start Available |Excellent Salary
Bilingual Spanish/English Financial Accountant with knowledge of year end statutory financial statements and reporting, to assist with an integration of two accounting departments. The FinancialAccountant will have hands-on experience of working with Audit teams to challenge and amend any reconciliatory entries. It is afast-paced office in the technology sector, so speed and accuracy of work is required. You will be bilingual Spanish and English, ideally have worked for Top Audit companies like EY, PwC, KPMG, Deloittes (our worked closely in a Finance team with audit Companies), be self-assured, confident in your accounting skills and have excellent communication skills.

What You Will Be Doing
* Assisting with the year-end data for multipleinter group companies
* Review and reconciliation of data entered plus statistics already reported
* Work on multi-Company Trial Balances, looking in detail at initial accounting statements
* Perform reconciliations and if errors identified prepare journals for posting
* Check prepayments and accrual entries to check if match final Accounts statements
* Using a common-sense approach to account reviewing
* Challenging the audit team if necessary
* Using Excel daily to prepare and review accounting information
* Any ad hoc duties which may arise within the finance team
What You Will Need to Succeed in This Role* Ideally AAT / ACCA or similar qualified or part qualified
* Must be bilingual English / Spanish
* Based in Gibraltar by will be able to travel to office based in Spain when required
* Strong attention to detail
* Used to working in a large data environment
* Audit background would be ideal but not essential
* Must have at least 3 years' experience working with an Audit team for year-end review work
* Confident personality to challenge where required
