Financial Controller | Commercial Office | Gibraltar | £Competitive salary package | Office based but some flexibility for candidates who are Gibraltar Resident
Qualified ACCA, ACA or similar Financial Controller required for an expanding commercial Office based in Gibraltar. They have a number of commercial interests which include the property market. This isa new opportunity to set up the Finance department in house with scope to build a team as and when business level permits. The Financial Controller will be a self-starter with a proven track record of producing timely management accounts and the relevant monthly reporting. One of the first key duties will be to implement Xero Software. You will be required initially to be involvedwith the day-to-day duties of invoicing and reconciliations along side monthly reporting.

What You WillBe Doing
* Implementation of Xero Accounting software, become the master user and train existing or new staff
* Set up a full monthly reporting pack on Xero suitable for Directors and Board
* Managing daily invoicing and reconciliations
* Managing approximately 70 different bank accounts internationally
* Prepare monthly Management Accounts for multiple companies within the Family Office structure
* Payment and Expenses Management
* Implementation and management of accounting controls* Expense Reporting
* Hiring of new Finance team in the course of time
* Any other duties relevant to this role
What You Will Need to Succeed in This Role
* Mid-range, 6+ years' experience post qualified
* UK Qualifications ACCA, ACA, CIMA or similar
* Gibraltar Resident preferred
* Xero accounting software experience desired but not essential
* Strong attention to detail
* Used to meeting deadlines for accounts and reporting
* Tech savvy
* High level excel skills
* Confident personality to present results to Board
