Fire& Security Commissioning Engineer - Leicester - £38,000-£42,000
Our client, a leading provider of Fire and Security solutions dedicated to ensuring the safety and security of their clients, is expanding their services in Leicester and the surrounding areas. They are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Fire & Security Commissioning Engineer to join their team.Role Overview: In this role as a Fire & Security Commissioning Engineer, your primary focus will be on commissioning Fire systems with expertise in GENT panels. While experience in Security systems is advantageous, it is not mandatory. If you are not already FIA qualified, the company is willing to support your qualification process.
Key Responsibilities:
* Commissioning Fire systems, particularly GENT panels, to the highest standard.
* Installing, servicing, and maintaining Fire Alarms, CCTV, Intruder, and Access Control systems.
* Supervising and actively participating in small works and installation tasks.
*Ensuring all installation and service tasks are completed efficiently, accurately, and within established timelines.
* Collaborating with team members to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
* Maintaining a high level of technical knowledge andstaying updated with industry best practices.
* Maintaining a safe and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and standards.
* Travelling to various client locations in Leicester and the surrounding areas.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Proven experience in Fire & Security, ideally with expertise in GENT panels.
* Experience in Fire Alarm, CCTV,Intruder, and Access Control systems.
* FIA qualification is a bonus, and the company is willing to support the qualificationprocess.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Commitment to safety and adherence to industry standards.
* Full UK Driving Licence.
