The Company
This well established company in the re-cycling sector are currently looking for a Maintenance Technician to join the team. They offer a friendly team driven environment and good working hours to offer a solid work / home life balance.
The Role
This is permanent, full time position in which you will work from Monday - Friday 08:00AM - 04:00PM. In this role you will be responsible for the mechanical and basic electrical maintenance of mainly fixed plant equipment / machinery on site.
Duties and responsibilities will include:
* General maintenance of all equipment on site
* Mechanical fitting of parts and mechanical repairs
* Basic electrical work (majorwork to be outsourced)
* Preventative maintenance and servicing of equipment
* Attending to breakdowns
* Welding and fabrication work
An all round position offering lots of variety in duties.
Requirements
The successful applicant willhave the following skills and experience:
* Previous maintenance experience in a factory / commercial environment
* Solidmechanical skills
* Basic electrical ability
* A flexible person happy to help out where required when not busy
* Responsible and well organised
* Good attention to detail
