Description:

Work Wales are looking to recruit a Solicitor for a consumer driven solicitors firm dealing with financial mis selling claims. Thesuccessful candidate will be joining an established team dealing with claims connection with undisclosed commissions relating tocredit agreements.

We are looking for an individual who is highly motivated, client driven, and interested in career progression.

Key responsibilities:

A technically strong litigation solicitor of around 2-4 years PQE working within Civil Litigation;

* Dealing with secret commissions claims from inception to completion
* Reviewing documents
* Calculating claim values
* Drafting court documents and letters
* Preparing witness statements
* Instructing experts
* Negotiating settlement* Advising client of settlement offers
* Dealing with interim hearings

Key skills:

* Experience in financial mis-selling an advantage
* Experience in managing junior members of staff
* An understanding of civil procedure rules through litigation experience
* Attention to detail and communication skills
* Effective time management
* Driven, articulate and looking to develop a legal career
* Proclaim experience is desirable but not essential

This is a full-time, permanent position Monday - Friday, office based in Swansea.

Salary: £30,000.00- £36,000.00 per year
