Are you ready to drive logistics excellence? Our client is seeking a Shipping and Logistics Administrator to their dynamic team! Your role will be pivotal in ensuring seamless operations and top-notch customer satisfaction. No worries if you're missing some experience - our client is happy to provide all the on-the-job training you need to thrive.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 2:00pm-10:30pm (due to later lorry arrivals)Responsibilities:
* Coordinate customer orders for efficient export to UK and Asia
* Streamline shipping processes and maintain accurate documentation.
* Optimise blast freezer usage for space efficiency.
* Manage relationships with cold storesand hauliers.
* Handle end-to-end management of purchase orders.
* Meet core KPIs and uphold company policies.
Requirements:
* Experience in logistics or shipping preferred (especially with UK customs experience)
* Strong administration skillsin a fast-paced environment.
* Proficiency in IT, including MS Office (especially Excel and Word).
* Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
* Excellent communication skills.
