Job Description
Job Title: Parcel Sorter
Department: Transport
Location: Swansea Service Centre
Hours of Work: 24 - Monday - Saturday 04:00am - 8am
Reports To: Transport Driver Team Manager/Early Morning Manager
Job Purpose:
To accurately sort & distribute orders sent into transport into correct van routes/areas.
All staff are expected to understand the principles of Good Distribution Practice of Medicinal Products for Human Use (2013/C 68/01) which is reflected in our SOP- REF Chapter 1 AHDL GDP 1.1. It will be a requirement for all staff to be trained in this SOP and have an annual refresher. Allother GDP training will be job specific and as per your personal training matrix
Key Accountabilities
* Unloading CDC/RDC trunker correctly and safely.
* Reloading CDC/RDC trunker correctly and safely.
* Safe transfer of load to despatch bay.
* Correctly sorting and distribution of orders.
* Correct distribution/storage of trays/bins.
* Adherence to checkingoff procedures.
* Maintain standards in accordance with Health & Safety policy.
* Damages awareness and procedures.
*Understanding productivity.
* Importance of security.
* Maintaining a good standard of housekeeping.
