Supply Chain Coordinator

Up to £30k depending on experienceWe are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Supply Chain Coordinator to join our client's team. If you have experience in expediting, supply chain management, purchasing, logistics, or customer liaison, we would like to hear from you
The Supply Chain Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of packaging and raw materials to meet production demandswhile keeping costs optimized. Building strong rapport with suppliers and internal stakeholders is crucial for success in this role.
Key Attributes:
* Previous experience in expediting, supply chain, purchasing, logistics, or customer liaison.* Excellent time management skills and commitment to excellence.
* Proactive team player with outstanding communication skills.
* Motivated, punctual, and well-organized with a desire to succeed.
* Ability to challenge and influence current processes.
* Ideally you will have an HND or equivalent certification but strong experience in a similar role will also be acceptedDuties:
* Manage open purchase orders to ensure timely delivery and materials availability.
* Coordinate material movement from supplier to production.
* Assess materials allocations and production plans to forecast and request materials requirements.
* Liaise extensively with suppliers and internal stakeholders, building excellent rapport.
* Coordinate and communicate effectively with internal staff.
* Manage supplier and internal customer performance.
* Experience in maintaining information within Sage for MRP functionality.
* Resolve queries through quality management systems.
