We have a great opportunity for an experienced Operations Manager to join an established creator & supplier of high value, luxury bespokeproducts, specialising in hardwood, glass and metal staircases and bespoke furniture. They are a national B to C company, providing a turn key service, working from South Wales.
With strong core values, this opportunity will enable the successful candidate to put their stamp on the role becoming an integral part of the business going forward. Working alongside the owners, you will be given the autonomy to facilitate growth from the production/shop floor perspective, while also working alongside sales & technical designers, installation teams and the customers to ensure the delivery and installation of works.
Duties will include:
* Scheduling and managing project work orders
* Ensure materials are in place and prevent downtime
* Manage all production operations
* Maintain and promote a Quality and Health and Safety culture amongst the team
* Lead by example ensuring a safe and efficient workplace
* Collate and analyse production data for management meetings
* Carry out CIactivities
* Motivation of the team
* Development of the team
* Address maintenance issues and co-ordinate as appropriateThe Person:
* An experienced Operations/Production Manager from manufacturing
* Ideally experience gained in supplier(s) to the construction industry
* Strong leadership skills
* Excellent organisational skills
* Ability to look at thewhole process from sales to installation
* Commercially aware
* Customer Centric
* Opportunity to grow into a Director level role
