Health and Safety Advisors
North Somerset
£negotiable depending on experience
We arecurrently recruiting for 2 Health and Safety professionals to support a business based in Bristol. One role will be based on site and the other on their client's premises in Bridgwater
The objective of the role will be to enable the organisation to maintain its legally complaint status with an engaged workforce
Key responsibilities:
*Development and maintenanceof HSE management processes
*Tracking actions and Non-Conformance Reports
*Verifying the effectiveness of action takenand improvements
*Tracking and championing Performance Standards set in projects
*Conducting verification checks on siteagainst life-saving rules, client standards, HSE Plans, RAMS
*Provide technical advice to site personnel
*Coaching and mentoring site supervision in HSE practices
*Assist with developing internal training and awareness and delivering where required
*Development and implementation of a variety of communication methods
*Personally strengthen networking opportunities within the industry and safety peers
The person:
* Experienced in a Health and Safety Advisor role
* NEBOSH GeneralCertificate (desirable)
* IOSH Working Safely (essential)
* IRCA Internal Auditor (desirable)
* Previous workplace experience (mechanical or fabrication may be an advantage)
