Role Overview: As a member of the logistics team, you'll be responsible for managing weighbridge operations to support product distribution across Ireland and beyond. In addition to weighbridge duties, you'll handle truckloading, stock control, and related administrative tasks requiring some IT competency.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the weighbridge system and support plant operations to ensure smooth logistics.
* Conduct truck loading including using a dumperor digger as required (full training provided though experience is preferred) and weighbridge activities, issuing weighbridge dockets as needed.
* Assist in stock control and unloading of raw materials.
* Maintain efficient working practices and procedures.
* Perform other tasks as instructed by the management team.
Experience & Qualifications:
* 1-2 years' experience in transport operations, including weighbridge operation and product loading/unloading.
* Strong attention to detail andaccurate reporting.
* Computer literacy skills, with familiarity with Outlook and MS Office as an advantage.
* Ability to learn new systems and processes.
Personal Attributes:
* Fluency in English, both verbal and written.
* Excellent work ethic and reliability.
* Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Strong communication skills and a hands-on approach.
Working Hours:
* 8-hour shift pattern, alternating mornings and afternoons, with potential weekend and night work based on export ship roster.
* Shift pattern is: Monday - Friday 6am- 2pm or 1pm - 9pm rotating every two weeks (NO WEEKENDS)
