The Health and Social Care HND is a level-5 qualification delivered over two years, the first year at level 4 and the second year at level-5. If a student opts to take the HND, the student would be eligible for a Higher National Diploma after successful completion of a minimum of 16 modules. BTEC Higher Nationals offer a strong emphasis on practical skills development alongside the development of requisite knowledge and understanding in the sector. Learners are attracted to these strong vocational programmes of study that meet individual progression needs either into employment or further study for a degree or professional course.
