I am delighted to be assisting my client, a state-owned Company in Limerick in recruiting a Maintenance Electrician to join their team.
My client is the estuarial port authority with responsibility for the entire Shannon Estuary. Building on significant growth in all areas of their business they nowhave an excellent opportunity for a Maintenance Electrician.

* Scheduling of day to day port equipment maintenance requirements in accordance withthe company policies and procedures ensuring engineering and maintenance KPIs are met. Continuous liaison with the relevant supervisors is critical to this position.
* Contribute and participate in the assignment of equipment priorities, planning and scheduling, maintenance plans, reviews and failure investigations
* Engage directly with manufacturers and suppliers of parts toensure timely and efficient availability of port equipment as required
* React to breakdowns as a matter of priority with a view to maximising equipment downtime
* Identify, organise and supervise the attendance of 3rd party technicians to provide additional support in a timely manner within budget constraints as required by the relevant supervisor
Requirements:
* Minimum of 2 years post qualification experience, including:
* Electrical maintenance background in a heavy industry environment* Experience commissioning heavy duty industrial installations and equipment
* Experience with maintaining and trouble-shooting electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and control systems
* Strong awareness of the relevant statutory and industry codes forelectrical maintenance and installations
* Strong interpersonal and team skills, well developed abilities in decision-makingand problem solving, and the ability to plan and organise a demanding workload are also essential.
* Current full (Minimum Category B) EU Driving Licence
