This is a fantastic opportunity to workwithin a well-established organization and contribute to the maintenance and continuous improvement of our production facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Preventive Maintenance: Conduct planned preventive maintenance (PPM) on food production machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
* Breakdown Response: Rapidly respond to and troubleshoot machinery breakdowns, implementing effective solutions to restore operations.
* Machinery Maintenance: Perform routine and corrective maintenance on a wide range of production equipment.
* Continuous Improvement: Identify and execute improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and production efficiency.
* Documentation: Keep detailed and accurate records of maintenance activities and machinery performance.
* Safety Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment.
Working Hours:
* Shift Pattern: 3 on 3 off (days and nights, rotating shifts)
Qualifications and Skills:* Experience: Previous experience in a similar role within the food manufacturing industry is essential.
* Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of food production machinery and maintenance procedures.
* Engineering Discipline: Relevant qualificationsin electrical or mechanical engineering.
* Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to resolve mechanical and electrical issues promptly.
* Team Player: Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
