We advise our customers that restoring can be labour-intensive, particularly if the sash windows are in a state of disrepair. Sometimes having newly-made sashes and retaining the box frame is a more cost-effective option.
We restore sash windows on listed buildings and on some conservation area buildings – where the local authority or client have requested the sash windows be restored rather than replaced.
