WORLDbytes, the school of Citizen TV based in Hackney East London, are the key media partners for the Battle of Ideas festival 2018 at the Barbican on Saturday 13th & Sunday 14th October.
This is a major weekend festival with over 100 debates and 400+ speakers from around the world- and you could be a part of the film crew. With different strands on social, political, scientific, academic and cultural discussions, this is an exciting and highly creditable event.
To be part of the film crew, no camera experience is necessary - the free film training we provide will ensure everyone is able to operate as a professional at this exciting event. A free festival weekend pass, travel expenses within London and refreshments will be provided. All volunteers will be credited on all resulting videos and references provided as required.
To take part, would be volunteers need to complete an online application on the WORLDwrites website and be available to attend an introductory meeting on Thursday 13th September 2018 at 7.30pm at the WORLDwrite Centre in Hackney, London E5.
