This summer Love Music Hate Racism aims to make a big splash at Notting Hill Carnival with a float in the parade, in collaboration with veteran band Smokey Joe Roadshow and the National Education Union (NEU).
In 2019 Love Music Hate Racism wants to rediscover the parades antiracist roots with our band theme ‘carnival of resistance’; highlighting the contribution of figures such as Claudia Jones ‘the mother’ and one of the founders of the parade.
Book your place to join us in the procession on Sunday 25th August (T-shirt Day) and Monday 26th August (Masquerade/Fun Mask).
The LMHR Carnival Package includes a special edition LMHR Carnival t-shirt, whistle and refreshments. This allows you access to join the LMHR band in the Notting Hill Carnival parade.
