Get Recruited are supporting a global FMCG business based in Leeds who, due to continued growth, are looking for a Key Account Manager to join their expanding sales team.
Working with someof the largest companies in the world, you will be responsible for selling a range of products into to new and existing customers. As the Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for identifying prospective customers, before arranging appointments where you will pitch the products.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work within an innovative and continuously growing sector.The role would suit a motivated, dedicated Key Account Manager who is seeking the opportunity to progress their career within the health and beauty / stationary / gifting sector whilst enjoying excellent earning potential and international travel.
THE ROLE:
* Gathering intelligence and sourcing leads
* Cold calling in order to secure face to face meetings across the UK
*Attending client meetings, pitching the range of products
* Negotiating contracts before closing the sale
* Manage a numberof existing accounts in order to secure repeat business
* Constantly keeping up to date with the latest trends within the FMCG sector
* Working towards agreed revenue targets and KPI's
THE PERSON:
* At least 2 years' experience within FMCG / health and beauty / stationary / gifting sector is essential
* Proven success working with major retailers is essential
* Demonstrable experience in achieving sales, profitability and budget goals
* Strong presentation skills
* Excellent communication skills
* A strong work ethic, willing to put in the extra hours to enjoy results
