It is a transfer board designed for moving between wheelchairs and toilets.
It is shaped so that it hooks around the armrest of the wheelchair for added stability.
The Transfer Board Commode Plastic can also be left in place whilst the patient is using the toilet, making the transfer back to the wheelchair simpler.
One side of the board is striate-sanded to make it comfortable for bare skin.
The other side is buff-sanded for added grip during clothed transfers.
