Accounts and Payroll Executive
£25,000 PA

Hours of work:Monday to Thursday 09:00 am - 17:00 pm, Friday 09:00 am -16:00 pm

My client is a multi award winning commercial company based in South Wales and West England. Working with offices, manufacturers as well as renowned car showrooms and building facilities across South Wales and Bristol my client prides themselves on giving people the opportunity to grow.
The Role
To support the Head of Finance in the provision of a high qualityaccounts function via
accurate and timely client invoicing, debtors management, payroll processing and month end accounting requirements
Duties and Responsibilities
Client invoicing:
* Client invoicing, new customer set-up, client changes, financeCRM management
Payroll:
* Processing of monthly payroll for 250-300 staff
* Weekly reporting of logged hours
* Completion of Monthly Wage Journal
* Month End & Year End Reporting Duties
Purchase ledger:
* Entry of purchase invoices onto Xero via Hubdoc system
* Processing Staff expenses
* Processing supplier payments
* Journal entries
* Bank reconciliations
Debtors:
* Credit control management
* Processing & Collection of Direct Debits
Ad-hoc:
* Quarterly VAT returns
* Management of Company Fleet records
* Any other AD-Hoc duties as required by the company accounts function
Requirements
The successfulapplicant will have the following qualifications, experience and attributes:
·Previous Payroll and Accountancy experience
·Complete finisher
·Accuracy
·Analytically minded
·Able to work to set time scales and strict deadlines
·Able to work multiplesystems
·Credit control experience
·Strong excel skills
· Month end duties
