THE OPPORTUNITY:
I am currently recruiting for myclient based in Bermondsey, who are looking for aN Assistant Accountant to join them on a full time, permanent basis.
Thisis an extremely rare and exciting opportunity to join a very successful business who will offer full study support and career progression.
You will be providing financial support to the business, producing reports to the requirements and deadlines of both internal and external customers and incorporating sound financial controls. Maintaining data integrity and liaise with otherfunctions to achieve streamlined integrated processes which meet overall business objectives.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* As theAssistant Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing management accounts for around 120 clients
* Assisting the seniorwith managing statutory accounts jobs
* Preparation of budgets / forecasts and other ad hoc information for clients
* Evaluating financial information for management and final approval purposes
* Preparation of client VAT returns
* End of year payroll filing, P60, Dividend Voucher and RTI
* Keeping up to date with relevant technical material
* Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including senior and external stakeholders
THE PERSON:
* Must be part qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
* At least 1 years' experience within Practice is essential
* Proficient user of IRIS, Xero, Sage or Quick books
*The ability to research technical issues when needed
* Accuracy and attention to detail are key
