ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT
ROMFORD
Up to£35,000 + Excellent Benefits
THE OPPORTUNITY:
Get Recruited is working with a well-established and expanding business whoare looking for an Assistant Accountant to join their successful team.
As an Assistant Accountant you will work directly withthe Finance Director to support the accounts function as the business continues to grow.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
* Assistwith month end processes
* Process bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations
* Manage VAT returns and process duty/VAT transactions
* Process the a monthly, bi-monthly and weekly payroll
* Produce first draft P&L reports
* Processing due diligence checks on new business ventures and clients
* Produce cash flow projections
THE PERSON:
* Experiencewithin a similar Assistant Accountant / Accounts Assistant role is essential
* Either part or fully qualified in CIMA/ACCA/ACA or equivalent
* Strong understanding of HMRC processes and procedures
* Confident to work with minimal supervision
* Able to manage a busy and varied workload
