THE OPPORTUNITY:
Get Recruited is working exclusively with a leading UK Fashion Retailer. The business has offices across the UK and is constantly growing. My client is looking to hire an AssistantManagement Accountant, to join the finance team in the Havant office and support the Management Accountant, with the preparationof the monthly accounts, balance sheets, annual budgets and forecasts. The Assistant Management Accountant is responsible for;ASSISTANT MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:
* General month-end accounting
* Responsibility for various storecosts; direct and property
* Analysing costs vs. budget/forecast
* Responsible for some head office cost centres
* Posting accruals and prepayments
* Account investigations for overheads and balance sheet
* Reconcile the balance sheet to highlight and correct errors
* Assist with the budgeting and forecasting process
* Contribute towards continuous efforts to improveinformation integrity and consistency
* Responsible for tracking capital expenditure and maintaining fixed asset registersDESIRED EXPERIENCE:
* Part-qualified CIMA/ACCA or looking to start studying
* Strong Excel skills
* Finance backgroundpreferred
