We are working on alongside a leading accountancy practice inSandy to source an experienced, hardworking Bookkeeper to join their team. With a small but highly experience team, this company provides expert service and advice to their clients, priding themselves on the exemplary customer experience they provide.As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for liaising with a portfolio of clients regarding their finances and accounts, maintaining their ledgers and reconciling accounts. This role requires excellent knowledge of Sage 50, and an ability to think outsidethe box to develop new ideas with the team.
This is a fantastic position for a motivated individual to further their career in accounts within a vibrant, fun environment. On offer is a basic salary of up to £22,000, plus an excellent benefits package.RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Communicating with clients in regards to accounts and finance issues
* Maintenance of general ledgers, purchase ledgers and sales ledgers
* Bank account reconciliations
* Preparation of VAT returns and management accounts
* Credit control duties; monitoring of debtors and creditors and managing payments
* Processing computerised accounts forclients using Sage 50
* Working with the team to develop innovative ideas for both the business and its clients

REQUIREMENTS:
* Minimum of 1 year of bookkeeping experience
* Strong knowledge of Sage 50
*Excellent Excel knowledge
* Fantastic communication skills and the desire to progress within accountancy
* A flexible, enthusiastic approach and friendly attitude
