THE OPPORTUNITY:
I am currently recruiting exclusively on behalf of one of Hastings most well-known and respected employer. The business is now seeking a Bookkeeper to join them ona full-time, permanent basis.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Using SAGE 50 to process computerised accounts
* Sales Ledger -Produce invoices, banking and reconciliation, chasing outstanding debts
* Purchase Ledger - BACS or cheque payments, checkinginvoices, working out VAT payments, checking and reconciling statements and dealing with all purchase enquiries
* Nominal Ledger
* Payroll - weekly and monthly using SAGE Payroll
* Cashbook and VAT Returns
* General administration duties
THE PERSON:
* Minimum 3 years' experience working within a similar role
* SAGE 50 and SAGE Payroll knowledge is essential* Extremely organised and meticulous
* Be able to work in a fast-paced environment
