Description:
Our client is seekinga Qualified Accountant with 3-5 years PQ experience to join their strong accounting team on a permanent basis in Dublin. This role will report to the Head of Commercial and Digital finance and you will be an integral part of the commercial finance operational team.
General Duties within the role are:
Provide variance analysis/commentary;
Involvement in monthly review processof our outsource provider;
Monitoring and review of monthly Financial controls;
Monthly analysis and reconciliation of P &L and Balance sheet codes to budgets;
Ad-hoc Financial modeling;
Preparation of rolling forecasts;
Preparation of annual budgets;
Dealing with ad-hoc day to day finance tasks & handling queries as they arise;
Involvement in year-end external audit;
Liaising with internal & external auditors and tax consultants;
Pro-actively manage issues, anomalies, and routine queries
Seek best practice, compliance, and accuracy in all reports, forecasts and actual submissions
Key skills within the roleare:
Qualified Accountant - ACA / ACCA
Advanced Excel
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Ability to work with non-financial department heads
Ability to work to deadlines
Team player with strong analytical, finance and accounting skills.
