Description:
Our client is currently seeking to hire a strong COMMERCIAL FINANCIAL ANALYST to join their team for a 12-month projectand there will be a completion bonus with this role.
You will be working in a team of 4 on the FP&A team with responsibility for preparing the weekly commercial reports within the business. Strong knowledge of access is essential for the role. Youwill also be a key member of a Project Team that will handle the transition from Access to Tableau ensuring the accuracy of thedata transfer.
The role will also have responsibility for providing support during month-end close by ensuring the commercial reporting is fully reconciled with the GL.
Key Responsibilities
Work with Commercial team to gather, consolidate, and analyse commercial data, including analysis of quarterly trends and drivers, forecast vs. actual.
Prepare weekly commercial reports for the Medical business using Access database
Key member of Project Team to transition commercial reporting from legacy system (Access database) to new system (Alteryx/Tableau) ensuring financial accuracy
Roll out training on new system (Alteryx/Tableau) to finance community
Provide support for the month-end close process ensuring commercial reporting reconciles to GL.
Develop and deliver clear financial commentary in support of the commercial operating results.
Work with Commercial team during the budgeting & forecasting process to produce backlog, bookings & sales forecasts.
Assist with adhoc strategic and operational projects as required e.g. initiatives to continuously improve and automate commercial reportingAssist with management business and financial planning, including presentations and key analysis requests.
Skills &Experience
Qualified Accountant ACA, ACCA or CIMA
Extensive Excel knowledge
Detail Oriented, organized, and demonstrated ability to multi-task and shift priorities quickly
Experience of SAP
Multinational Manufacturing experience - desired but not essential
