Our client based in Donegal is seeking a Cost Estimator for a full-time permanent positionwith their well-established team.
This role will be very focused on excel with high attention to details.
Responsibilities:
Lead the coordination, development, and preparation of highly accurate competitive quotations for new and existing customers
Provide support to the project manager in preparing and presenting quotations for new and/or existing products currently manufactured by the Company
Proactively identify program financial risks and areas of improvement based upon spend patterns.
Drive financial reporting for the NPI organisation (Cost plan, revenue plan, budget status, etc.)
Create cost and revenue plans. Collaborating with finance on the revenue recognition, P&L impact of the program financials
Support the program review reporting process with compilation of program health reports e.g. timeline, milestones, dashboards
Liaise with the programme team andpre-production business partners in support of financial items as they arise
Required Qualifications:
Educated to degree level in a business-related discipline
2 years' experience in a similar role
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Experience of SAP is desirable
Qualifications - Skills and Competencies:

Ability to prioritise and work to strict deadlines
Demonstrated ability to work on own initiative
