THE OPPORTUNITY:
Get Recruited is exclusively recruiting on behalf of oneof Manchester's most well-known and respected employer. The business is now seeking a Finance Assistant to join them on a full time, permanent basis as a Finance Assistant.
You will be joining an innovative and thriving team at the ground level with plenty of opportunity to develop with them.
ROLE SUMMARY:
As a Finance Assistant you will play a key role in supporting the finance team and provide an important link between the business and clients. You will work in a challenging and innovative environment, undertaking financial and administrative duties across the business. This is a varied and exciting role for someone who is looking to join a company that is expanding rapidly.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Input and Process Purchase Invoices
* Liaisewith suppliers and resolve queries
* Raise sales invoices
* Credit Control
* Undertake Bank Reconciliations
* Undertakeintercompany reconciliations
* Undertake VAT returns
* Processing Card Payments
* Post bank statement credits/debits in Sage
* Booking flights and accommodation
* General Ad Hoc office duties
THE PERSON:
* SAGE 50 experience is ESSENTIAL* Strong knowledge of VAT
* Minimum 2 years' experience within a similar role
* Experience with Intercompany reconciliations preferred
* Strong communication skills - both written and verbal
* Can be meticulous within a fast-paced environment
*Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
* Ability to work independently and as a team
* Excellent administrative and time management skills
