Description:
Our client is a leader in theirfield and currently seeking to hire a Financial Accountant to join their team in Mayo.
This is a full-time permanent position in a busy role for a Part/ Newly Qualified or IATI qualified professional with experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintenance of General Ledger, including but not limited to inputting of invoices & cash sheets, Accounts Payable, Bank Reconciliations and Balance Sheet Reconciliations
Preparation of Monthly Management Accounts to Profit & Loss level
Compiling Daily/Weekly/Monthly management reports, and Variance reports with analysis
Preparation of bi-monthly VAT Returns
Other various duties such as preparation of budgets, audit reconciliations, cash flow analysis etc.
Assisting Financial Controller with individual adhoc tasks as they arise
Qualifications and Experience:
Newly/Part-Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CPA)
Highly motivated, self starter who has ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines
Excellent numerical skills, accuracy and strongattention to detail
Good communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a team environment but must be able to useown initiative and take ownership of role
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
1-2 years' experience in similar position
