Description:
Our client is seeking to hire an FP&A Analyst to join their team on a permanent basis in Mayo.
This role is being offered as a hybrid position and is a newly created role within the expanding Business Analysis division.
Key Responsibilities:
* Forecasting and Budgeting - play a key role in the production and maintenance of our financial forecasting models using Prophix our CPM software across the group. This role will understand the factors driving our growth, our success, and ensuring our forecasts and planning reflect these.
* Develop a deep understanding of industry trends, economics and key financial drivers across our customer base and regions.
* Building and maintaining data Prediction models that drive business insights and improve business outcomes.
* Providing analysis against sales budgets and previous periods, identifying risks and opportunities, and effectively communicating results to senior leadership inorder to influence and support tactical and strategic business decisions.
* Play a key role in the group sales target settingprocess and maintenance of these targets. This will involve close collaborations with the sales leaders and sales teams across the group.
* Reporting and Analytics - produce the Group KBI (Key Business Indicator) report for the management team highlighting key trends within the business. Other reports include key customer reporting highlighting trends, and monthly sales Return on Investment performance reports.
* Working in collaboration with the Senior Leadership Teams on specific high impact projectsand ad hoc financial analysis.
* M&A - Assisting in detailed Financial and Commercial due diligence on key projects.
*Driving continuous improvement of processes, including implementation of best practices and automation initiatives through collaboration with our technology teams.
* Responsibility for accuracy of the weekly and monthly sales results. Close off month endgroup sales and gross profit statements as part of the financial month end close.
* Mentoring and supporting junior team members.
Requirements:
* Part qualified / Qualified with ACA, ACCA, AICPA & CIMA.
* Understanding of Financial Structure, i.e. P&L, Balance Sheets and cashflow.
* Pro-active attitude with the ability to problem solve.
* Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
* Experience in planning, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis an advantage.* Familiarity with models and data analytics tools an advantage.
* Ability to work and collaborate in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent communication skills and working in and participating in team environments.
* Proficiency with Microsoft anessential, especially Excel a key requirement.
