**ONEDAY A WEEK IN MANCHESTER OFFICE**
Are you an experienced Underwriter with significant knowledge of the mortgage marketplace?
Would you have the expertise and knowledge to assist in the strengthening of broker relationships?
If the answer tothese questions is yes, we would like to hear from you.
We are recruiting for an individual with fantastic experience in financial services for an Underwriter position located in Skipton, with one day a week spent in Manchester. You will take responsibility for assessing cases from start to finish, having ownership over each case from submission to the decision being made.
The package on offer is an annual salary of up to £35,000.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Managing case pipeline through the full application process, ensuring SLA times are consistently met
* Maintaining an excellent knowledge of the company's products and services
* Considering mortgage applications, approving in accordance with the company lending policy
* Maintaining a strong working relationship with Key Brokers, spendingone day a week on-site
* Ensuring adherence to regulatory standards at all times
* Complying with all legal responsibilitiesand security procedures
SKILLS REQUIRED:
This position is ideally suited to a Mortgage Underwriting. Candidates mustmeet the following requirements:
* Proven experience of underwriting within the mortgage market
* Demonstrable ability todeliver against set SLAs
* Strong understanding of FCA principles and regulations
* Must be able to travel to Manchester offices for one day a week
