Stocks and Cost Controller - Part time - (12-month maternity cover)
Job Purpose
Reporting to the Managing Director andFinance Manager and is a hands-on position that requires the ability to work unsupervised across a number of functional teams within the business.
You will have an accountancy background and a strong working knowledge of ERP systems and Microsoft Office.Duties will include:
* Review Actual costs ensuring they are posted to correct cost centre
* Monthly standard cost review ofproducts
* Organise and control inventory checks (monthly) and analyse results
* Produce monthly factory variance report
* Review of internal accounting entries and post to General Ledger
* Annual standard cost process
* Review forecast
* Convert toproduction plan
* Project production cost budget (by cost centre)
* Calculate work centre rates
* Assist warehouse supervisor with daily stock movements and reconciliations
* Build packaging stock movements into ERP system
* Run month end schedulingon ERP system for posting stock reconciliation journal
* Enter timesheets into payroll system and calculate holiday pay for hourly rate employees
* Audit of monthly procedures ensuring everything is signed off correctly with backup for changes made in ERP system
* Prepayments and accruals calculated and entered into ERP system
* Other ad hoc duties to be discussed
Hours: 2days a week (9am - 5pm)
Pension: Auto-enrolment into NEST pension scheme
