Get Recruited are currently supporting a reputable, family run Accountancy practise based in Wakefield, who are seeking a Payroll Assistant to join their team ona Part Time basis.
As the Payroll Clerk, you will be responsible for running the weekly, fortnightly and monthly payroll fora range of clients. This role would suit a dedicated individual who has previous payroll experience either from within practiseor industry.

THE ROLE:
* Running weekly, fortnightly and monthly payrollusing SAGE payroll
* Bookkeeping duties including VAT return preparation on SAGE and EXCEL
* General administration dutiesincluding answering the phone, emails, etc
* Experience within Pension Auto-enrolment
* Monitor and report sickness and maternity payments
* Responding to any client queries in a professional manner
* Complete any ad hoc duties as required
THEPERSON:
* Minimum 2 years' experience working within a Payroll / Finance Assistant / Accounts Assistant role in either industry or practice
* Extremely organised and meticulous
* Ability to manage a heavy workload
* Used to working within a fast-paced environment
* Good knowledge of SAGE, SAGE payroll and EXCEL
* Can use all Microsoft Office systems
