Payroll Manager
Our client is a leading organisation with a large payroll function dealing with high volume of outside Payrolls.
Due to expansion - they are now looking to hire a skilled and experienced Payroll Manager to join their team in Dublin City Centre

With a team of 20+ payroll professionals - this is a very busy position with excellent rewards.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years management experience preferablywithin a Bureau or Shared Service Environment.

Payroll Team/People Development
Manage and motivate a diverse team of payroll professionals
Responsibility for management of full payroll teams portfolio
Responsible for training and development of theteam
Liaise with Senior Management around people management including performance appraisals, recruitment and team developmentInvolved in implementing strategic goals and objectives
Support the team in communicating with their client base and setting fees for additional payroll requirements
Work in partnership with other divisions within the payroll department

Technical/Compliance Expertise
Keep processing skills up to date by acting as back up processor as required
Continuously strive to furtherimprove current procedures whilst ensuring payroll is processed in the most accurate and efficient manner
Provide assistance and support with technical/legislative/systems queries
Ensure compliance, data protection and risk control within the team

Client Relationships
Involvement in the collaborative process of onboarding new clients
Act as a point of contact for client issues within the escalation process
Be enthusiastic and passionate about providing clients with the highest level of service
Maintain and further develop the relationship with existing clients

Qualities, Skills & Experience
A minimum of 3 years' experience managing a team preferably a bureau or shared service environment
Team player
Experience of software packages Europay& Star would be an advantage
Proficient user of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel & Outlook
Excellent time management, administration skills and attention to detail
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work effectively under pressure
Strong problem-solving abilities
