Description:
Our client based in Westport are currently seeking to hire a strong Payroll professional to run thefull payroll function. This is a large multi-run weekly payroll function and Sage Micropay is highly desired.
This is a 4 dayweek contract position within a busy organisation to run for 9 months.
Duties:
Responsible for ensuring all payrollinputs are accurate & completed on time
Maintain time and attendance system
High volume weekly payroll processingEnsure accurate and timely Payroll Submissions, Statement acknowledgements and payments on Revenue online system.
Ensure alladditional payroll reporting requirements such as Pension Reporting are met in a timely manner.
Administration of Starters, Leavers and Ad Hoc Changes.
Respond to all internal/external payroll queries and ensuring all queries are answered within theService Level Agreements
Ad-hoc projects as & when required.
Candidate profile:
Experience in Payroll administration and general payroll legislation
IPASS/Accounts Technician qualification desired
Experience of running a number of separate payrolls each week.
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Conscious, rigorous, professional, responsible, organised and methodical
Ability to prioritise
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Willingness to roll up sleevesand be hands-on
