Get Recruited are currently supporting a leading Pensions provider based in Chelmsford who are looking for an experienced and qualified Pensions Administration Manager to join their successful and expanding team.
As the Pensions Administration Manager, you will be responsible for service delivery across quality, profit and sustainability for your client portfolio and the day to day management of your team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Pensions Administration Manager with experience in Defined Benefit and ideallyDefined Contribution to join a highly reputable and growing business at an exciting period of expansion.
THE ROLE:
* Assisting with and occasionally leading the provision of pensions administration services for the client portfolio
* Overseeing the management of client relationships with trustees and corporate clients
* Playing an active role in the marketing and new business initiatives of the business including events
* Providing expert advice solutions the clients queries and request for advice
* Overseeing the project management of scheduled and ad-hoc projects such as renewals, benefit statements, pension increases, trustee reports and accounts
* Taking the lead on admin billing alongside the wider management team
* Leading on non-client activities, conducting internal audits, improvements to processes etc
* Manage the workflow and workload allocation for your team
* Identify and implement team objectives
* Staff management including regular appraisals, HR, performance managementetc
* Taking a lead on mentoring, training, coaching and developing team members
THE PERSON:
* Previous pensions administration experience of Defined Benefit schemes including leavers, retirements, deaths, transfers, investment and renewals is essential
* Excellent working knowledge of the pensions legislation framework
* Experience within a supervisor or managerial role
* Proficient skills on Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
* High attention to detail
