Description:
Our client is seeking to IMMEDIATELY hire a skilled Qualified Accountant for a role based in Galway.
This role will offer a degree of remote work.
Qualified and experienced Accountant to assist with Financial, Compliance and Governance projects working with Director of Corporate Services to deliver the following:3 Years + post qualification experience. A background in a medium-sized or Big 4 Audit Practice or previous governance experience desirable.
The nature of the work is project-driven and vary depending on the Institute's need. In that regard flexibilityand adaptability is required.
Such projects may include:
* Review and update of financial and governance policies,
* Preparation of initial draft deliverables for Board or Audit and Risk Committee meetings,
* Audit checks to ensure compliancewith procurement procedures,
* Documenting standard operating procedures and co-ordination of update of risk registers and supporting the team in its preparation for and during internal and external audits.
