Description:
Our client - a company of choice for employees is currentlyseeking to hire a Senior Accountant for a 12 month fixed term contract.
There could be an extension to this.
The role is currently being offered as a fully remote position with a view to moving to 1 days in the office later in 2021 and 2 days in the office in 2022. The office is Limerick.
This is a hands on busy position with responsibilities for legal entities in the Nordics and Switzerland.
Key Responsibilities:
Overall accounting responsibility for legal entities in Nordics and Switzerland.This involves close teamwork with external advisors and other finance teams to ensure statutory and tax reporting is completedaccurately and on time.
Manage month end close and be responsible for the P&L and Balance Sheet of these entities.
Manage the EMEA Fixed Assets process including CIP,
Manage the EMEA Balance Sheet reconciliation process
Support new ERP implementation within the General Ledger area
Qualifications / Requirements:
Accounting qualification required (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
3-5 years post qualification experience.
Experience working in a multi-national corporation environment beneficial.
ERP system implementation experience a strong advantage.
EMEA Statutory Accounting Expertise.
