Are you an experienced Solutions Architect and looking to move away fromcommuting into London every day? We are partnered with a leading General Insurer in their search for a Solutions Architect to join the Surrey office which could offer you the work life balance you are looking for.
The team are currently building and migrating a digital cloud environment, to create a scalable platform to support demand fluctuations. As the Solutions Architect you will be involved in the development of IT application architecture to ensure architecture strategy aligns with business direction.
Your day to day could include:
·Working closely with developers to design and deliver Microservice architectures (Java)
·Building and maintaining technological solutions
·Ensuring that projects are consistent with the strategic direction
·Defining non-functional requirements
·Developing architecture standards and working with project teams to ensure appropriate application
As an experienced architect you would have experience with:
·Excellent knowledge of AWS cloud technologies, Oracle RDBMS, Linux, etc.
·AWS or Java certification or equivalent experience
·Experience with architecture frameworks and methodologies(TOGAF, Zachman etc.)
·Exposure to SDLC through agile methodologies
