Our client a leading manufacturer in Co Tipperary are currently recruiting a Rostering Administrator/HR Administrator who will provide HR support for all departments with a key focus on operations and scheduling.
Purposeof the Role:
Reporting to the HR Manager, this is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Administrator to gain a broad range of experience in a growing organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for rostering employees to ensure allproduction lines are maintained with staff requirements.
Main Responsibilities:
Rostering and Scheduling
* Full responsibility for the weekly rostering and scheduling of all flexi employees and key skills ensuring approximately 300 shifts per week are filled for a 24/7 operation
* This is a demanding yet fulfilling responsibility with operations relying on the abilityof the Rostering Administrator to complete the daily and weekly rosters
* Fully responsible for ensuring all production linesare manned with the relevant key skills and general operator man power requirements
* Ensuring all webtext communications aresent out daily
* Producing accurate and detailed daily and weekly reports reflecting the weekly schedules, linking in all relevant reports to include, absence management, key skill fulfilment, overtime analysis, labour compare and payroll adjustmentsHR Administration
* Ongoing administration and support of the Absence Management programme updating all schedules with theabsence names
* General administrative support regarding completion of all forms for social welfare
* Administration of thetime management system (TMS) ensuring all rosters are coded correctly and accurately for payroll to process
* Management of the holiday tracker providing forecast outlooks for the coming weeks identifying gaps and concerns
* Support the H&S manageras required
* Involvement in the recruitment drives (conducting interviews and providing induction training)
* Minute takerfor meetings and investigations
* Answer general HR queries from staff and management
* Lead and deliver various projects related to staff and improving services delivered by HR and the Company
* Conduct staff forums ensuring follow up and feedback* General support to the HR department
Person Specification & Experience Required
* Minimum 2 year's experience working in a busy office support administrative role
* Excellent Excel skills / formulas / linking sheets
* Certificate in business/administration desirable
* Confident person who is able to work with many types of people and maintain a professional approach at all times
* Friendly demeanour is important - approachable personality
* An energetic individual with the capacityto manage multiple activities and priorities
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to delivera professional HR service
* Excellent Computer Literacy with a reliance on excel capability
* Ability to Prioritise and Multi task
* Self-motivated and self-driven, enjoy working as part of a small team
* Excellent attention to detail essential
*Ability to work on own initiative
* Integrity - confidentiality is paramount
* Ability to remain calm under pressure
* Ability to work with people and be the initial point of contact for all queries and issues
