Software QA Engineer - (Part time) Bristol
Building personal Air Vehicles and Taxi's. The future is here and you're going to help build it!
…on a part time basis of course, but as they say what a difference a day *two days aweek makes.
The team you'll work in have an immense level of experience in Aerospace and together you can really help make a real change in the world. You'll be based out of Bristol with some travel to the HQ, working on a project that's developing a fly-by-wire control system for air vehicles.
Whilst they work with companies all around the world to create the next generation of flight control systems, they'll need someone to help set standards and carry out the relevant audits assessing adherence to these standards (DO-178).
You'll be supported by true experts in these standards and a company that has gone from strength to strength in their filed; 150% headcount increase in 2 years, huge increase in the size of bids they are involved with, diversification of their portfolio and a new office!
This position is a chance to work a few days a week on genuinely interesting work with fantastic people. You'll salary would be up to the equivalent of £55,000 of a fulltime employee.
Experience Needed:
* Experience of having worked with teams developing Safety Critical software
* Previous experience of participating ininternal gated reviews
* Experience of assessing completeness and correctness of test artefacts and test environments aimed at verifying real time and embedded software
