FRS Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Farm Manager for a 1000 cow dairy herd outside Dubai. This is a full-time permanent role.
Are you looking to travel abroad and get experience working on a large scale dairy farm ? If so this may be the role for you. We are looking for a Farm Manager to manage a 1000 cow dairy herd outside Dubai. This isa practical and hands on role where you will be responsible for the daily running of the farm
Reporting to the Operations Manager you will be responsible for the following
Duties
* Daily milking operations
* Monitoring herd health
* Overseemilk production
* Test for milk quality , BF % and SNF %
* Monitor farm feed requirements
* Ensure the smooth running ofthe farm on a daily basis
* Work closely with the Operations Manager
Candidate profile
years practical milking experience in Ireland.
* Milking experience outside of Ireland ( NZ or Australia )
* Competent and assertive supervisor
*3RD level Degree or Cert in Agricultural Science
