FRS Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Dairy Herd Manager for a dairy farm in France. This is a full-time permanent role.
My client is large scale mixed farm based in North West France. They harvest a large range of cereals includingoil seed rape.
Presently they are looking to add an additional Dairy Herd Manager to take over the daily running of a 180 cow dairy herd. The dairy herd operates an all year round high input system using a Herringbone milking unit.
Duties* Manage the daily running / operations of the dairy farm.
* Milking morning & evening
* Cleaning out of cubicles usingvery modern machinery
* Bedding cubicles with straw using a straw spreader.
* Tractor and associated machinery work
* Workevery 2nd weekend.
Candidate profile
* A number of years practical experience working with cows
* A strong workethic
* Ability to prioritise
* The ability to take on extra duties when required
Renumeration
* A Starting salary of 30000 to 40000k Euros DOE
* Accommodation provided
* Flight travel to and from Ireland will be subsidised
