FRS Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Sales Manager on behalf of a leading animal health business. This is a full-time permanent role.
My client is a progressive animal health business that has been serving the Irish veterinary & farming sectors for over 20 years. They provide a diverse range of animal health products to the merchant and co-op trades.
The successfulcandidate for this role will lead , manage and motivate the sales team to achieve maximum profitability.
Reporting to the Sales Director you will be responsible for the following duties
* Coach , train and mentor the field sales team.
* Take the lead in identifying opportunities in all sectors and proposing new product development ideas
* Establish and implement plansto meet and exceed sales targets
* Manage existing customer base and present customer proposals on an ongoing basis
* Analyse market , customer and consumer trends
* Work closely with the Marketing division to promote the company through varies channels
* Manage the company budget
* Implement training programmes
* Work closely with office staff ( 1 day per week / Dublin based )
Candidate profile
* Previous experience in sales management.
* Experience of working in the agricultural / veterinary / animal health sector.
* Proactive approach to business development
* Proficiency in MS Word , Excel &PowerPoint
* Results driven with strong people influencing skills
