With no dress code, a flat management structure with little hierarchy and lots of vision, this twenty year old events company has achieved remarkable growth by developing ground-breaking business conferences in markets all over the world.
On a basic salary of £25k, as a graduate starter you would research the potential for new conferences and define the agenda, the intellectual content of events and recruit the speakers. You'd also earn profit share, which ought to bring your first year earnings close to £30k. The role is not about events logistics; organising catering or staging etc. You would bethe person defining the topic and framing the content, picking and recruiting the speakers not taste-testing the canapés.
Therequirements for graduate entry are any good degree (or equivalent achievement), research ability to unearth potential conference topics, persuasive skills to recruit high-level speakers and ideally some evidence of your experience an entrepreneur, even ajunior one, so we know you're business minded and imaginative.
