PR Executive - Travel & Tourism

My client is a highly reputable, established and rewarding employer recognised as an industryleader in their field who are looking for an experienced PR Executive to join their successful and ambitious marketing team atan exciting time.
Working as part of the Social and PR subteam within the wider Marketing team, you will play an integral role in delivering PR activity including creating and executing various PR Campaigns.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced PR Executive who has worked within the Travel and Tourism industry who is looking for a challenging but rewarding environment to grow their skills and experience.
Main Responsibilities
* Working as part of the Social and PR team to coordinate with the wider Marketing team
* Coordinating content across PPC, SEO, Social and Digital Media campaigns to ensure brand continuity
* Implementing the PR Strategy
* Delivering specific and measurable gains for the business
* Working with the PRManager and PR Agency to maximise positive media coverage
* Coordinate closely with the PR Agency to support on the delivery of all PR activity
* Responding to media requests
* Writing press releases
* Arranging press trips
* Planning and delivering exhibitions, shows and events
* Producing and distributing internal communications including reports on PR coverage
Required Competencies
* Previous experience within a similar PR role is essential
* Knowledge of the Travel and Tourism industry
* Excellent understanding of PR including the news cycle and media relations
* A strong commercial acumen and understanding of the PR departments impact on the business
* Strong attention to detail
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a wider team
